It Makes Me Stunned! (Poem)

It makes me stunned !
To be a member of Earth's most dangerous creature
who have heart of devil with costume of preacher
where the women who bring fetus to its shape
are subject of mere pleasure and brutal rape!
It makes me stunned...
To attend a lavish wedding with thousand dishes
beside a beggar's home who asks for a simple meal in exchange of million wishes!
Here respect is proportional to the money you have earned
and the lovers in the name of honor are proudly burned!
It makes me stunned ....
To witness personal greed that overshadows well being of society
and even bribing is used to please the almighty!
Shock value is used to manipulate the legion
and we kill others to protect peace-oriented religion!
The scenario around us itself is shouting for a need
to initiate change at micro level with single good deed!

Flight you cannot miss

Weather is much more pleasant than the last time. When it’s your third time on the flight with same airlines, everything starts looking familiar. Earlier two journeys were much more of a preparatory nature. Today, my mind was clearly reflecting the sense of achievement. Something that I was seeking from the day I joined my post grad chemistry program. Two hours from now, journey will be concluded, which will be green signal to the commencement of my dream. Cynics out there are still promoting the idea that technology is bad for humanity. Maybe, they don’t understand what people like us are doing for the community. Looking through the window, everything down there looks like a visual from Google Earth. When my mind was brimming with these multiple thoughts, one of associates came to me. "Be ready," his tone was imperative. "Yes I am," I replied in a affirmative manner. Walking towards the washroom, I gave brief smile to the stewardess. My hand bag was bit heavier as everyone had kept their respective medicine bottles in it. Once inside the washroom, I started taking out the ingredients. Yes, the bottles had hydrogen peroxide, acetone and other necessary chemicals brought carefully by all the members on board and I was about to turn these into medium sized explosive. There was no fear. There was just a satisfied mind which knew that it was time to apply my learning for the greater good of the community. The journey of all the passengers was about to conclude. Hope they had nice one till now! !
